Q. Are there any types of rubbish you cannot collect?
A. Yes. Hazardous classed waste which includes asbestos, paint, chemicals, solvents, oil, tyres, televisions (the older glass tube type), chemicals, fuels (diesel/petrol), raw fish/meat & animal waste. Although refrigerators, freezers & tyres are classed as hazardous they can be removed by special arrangement or alternatively you can arrange for these items to be collected by your local authority which is usually the cheaper option.

Q. I work week days do you offer collections outside these times?
A. Yes. Although we now only offer a Mon-Fri collection service we can collect at weekends by special arrangement if so required subject to our availability. Please refer to our Contact Us page for our hours of business. We can also offer collections after 5pm weekdays by special arrangement.

Please note: We cannot always guarantee to complete larger clearances on Sundays and Bank Holidays as the commercial recycling transfer stations are closed at these times so a second visit to remove remaining loads would need to be carried out in order to complete the work.

Q. Do you supply containers for rubbish collection?
A. We can supply large 1 tonne canvas bags or heavy duty rubble sacks free of charge so you can pack your waste before we collect from you. Some customers prefer this option and this is open to domestic as well as commercial clients. For commercial clients we supply any size wheelie bins for regular contract collections.

Q. What payment types will you accept?
A. We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard and AMEX. Also we can accept Apple Pay, Android Pay We will also accept cash on the day, bank transfer or cheque. ALL transactions including cash will receive an instant printed receipt or email receipt or both.

Q. Do you charge VAT?
A. We do not charge VAT. As a company we have opted to remain non VAT registered so that we can be as competitive as possible keeping our costs low which is a great saving for our non VAT registered customers. We will remain this way until such time we are legally bound to do so or under advice from our company accountant.

Q. Do I need to be at my property for my waste collection?
A. With your specific consent we will collect waste from your property or premises in your absence. You will need to ensure your waste is accessible and safe to remove. We will take photographic evidence before and after removal of your waste and forward this to you for your satisfaction that the work has been correctly carried out during your absence.

We also recommend you consider notifying your neighbours beforehand that we will be clearing your waste in your absence and that we have your permission to do so.

Q. Where do you take my rubbish for disposal?
A. We only transfer your waste to fully licensed recycling transfer stations in accordance with the type of waste load we carry which means general waste, green waste, hard core waste, metallic waste, soil waste are transported to their respective recycling centres. We always deliver each type of waste to the recycling station that specialises with each type. As well as keeping our costs lower this transfers to our competitive pricing and likewise for the waste receiver so everyone is a winner including our environment!

Q. How do I know you will not 'fly tip' my rubbish?
A. To be honest - you don't! If your waste is tipped illegally and then traced back to you 'the customer' then you will be prosecuted not us. This is why we give you a receipt for your waste at the time of collection regardless of type of payment transaction which is your proof that the responsibility for disposal has been transferred to Completely Clear Limited and removes the onus from you.

Fly tipping has become an increasing problem and as a respectably operated business we sincerely do not condone this illegal practice. We are now helping to promote awareness by displaying a warning sign on our vehicles to join the campaign in promoting a safer and cleaner environment.

At the point of sale it is then our legal responsibility to exercise a 'Duty Of Care' to dispose of your waste safely and correctly in accordance with Environment Agency legislation. By law all waste is 'tracked' using waste transfer notes and kept on record for 2 years before destroying the data correctly in accordance with the Environment Agency code of practice England & Wales. This code is issued under section 34 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.

Any concerns regarding this procedure and how we dispose of your waste we welcome you to challenge us to prove to you how this process works and what steps we take to correctly and lawfully dispose of your waste. For your peace of mind it is our standard policy to explain this procedure to you either at the point of enquiry or on site before we load your waste.
